The Paraboot Barth Marine R is a hand-sewn boat shoe rooted in a commission from the French Navy in the 1970s, when submariners needed footwear with reliable grip on wet decks. This women's version is crafted from cerf, a vegetable-tanned deer leather prized for its natural softness and subtle grain texture. The whisky colourway brings a warm amber tone that deepens with wear. Blake stitched and left unlined, the shoe moulds to the foot over time while the natural rubber Marine sole provides flexible, sure-footed traction. A leather lace, tanned separately from the upper, can be drawn tighter as the leather relaxes. Made in Spain, the Barth is a considered piece of functional design built on over a century of Paraboot's shoemaking history.

Care & Maintenance
- Apply a quality leather balm or cream periodically to nourish and protect the deer leather
- Brush gently with a soft horsehair brush to maintain the grain and remove dust
- A white haze or "bloom" may appear due to natural fats in the leather; brush it back into the surface
- Store with cedar shoe trees in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Allow shoes to rest between wears to preserve shape and extend lifespan

- Belgium, Germany, and France: €15, free on orders over €200 (2–4 business days)
- Rest of Europe: €35, free on orders over €500 (4–6 business days)
- USA, Canada, and Mexico: Temporarily unavailable
- Rest of the World: Temporarily unavailable
International Duties and VAT
- Orders shipped outside the European Union are sent Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU).
- This means import duties, taxes, or fees may apply when your order arrives in your country. These costs are not covered by BLOODORANGE STORE and are the customer’s responsibility.
- For non-EU shoppers, 21% VAT is automatically deducted at checkout once you enter your shipping details.

- We ship with DHL: DHL Parcel for domestic orders and DHL Express for international deliveries.

EU Customers
EU Right to Withdrawal
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.
To qualify for a return, items must be:
- Unworn and unused
- With original tags attached
- In their original packaging
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order and returned within 14 days of notifying us.
How to Initiate a Return
You can initiate a return in one of two ways:
1. By Post
- Contact us at contact@bloodorangestore.com to request a return.
- Once approved, we will email you a return shipping label with instructions.
- Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- For returns due to change of mind, the cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
2. In Person
- Customers in the Netherlands may return items directly to our store at:

Refund Conditions
Refunds will be processed as follows, depending on the reason for the return:
1. Change of Mind
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected.
- Transaction fees incurred on the original purchase will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If returned by post, the cost of the return shipping label will also be deducted.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
- If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us within 5 days of delivery.
- We will cover the cost of return shipping (if by post) and, if applicable, the cost of shipping a replacement item.
- If a refund is requested instead of a replacement, we will cover all transaction fees and the return shipping cost.
Non-EU Customers
Returns for purchases outside the EU are generally not accepted. However, we may review requests on a case-by-case basis. Approved returns must meet the same conditions as above.
Exchanges
We do not process exchanges.
If you wish to change an item, you may return the original purchase for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.
Damages and Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery at orders@bloodorangestore.com. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly. Any shipping costs for returning or replacing defective items will be fully covered by us.
Sale Items
All sale items are final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds.
